Couros is a internationally known educator in the area of innovative leadership, teaching, and learning. He has worked with all levels of school--from K-12 as a teacher and technology facilitator, school and district administrator, and is the author of the book “The Innovator’s Mindset; Empower Learning, Unleash Talent, and Lead a Culture of Creativity.” We are thrilled to announce that George will also offer breakout sessions during his time with us at #NETX17!

Spotlight Presenters

Michael Jaber

Michael Jaber is a nationally recognized Google Certified Trainer and Google Certified Innovator who has worked closely with the Google Education Team and presented at numerous conferences across the country, as a keynote, and as a featured presenter. Michael has a long history within education. He spent 18 years in the classroom as a social studies teacher, which eventually transitioned into a technology coaching role, and now leads the Sheboygan Area School District, in Wisconsin, as their Instructional Technology Coordinator. He has trained multiple school districts around the world on how to approach 1:1 initiatives, along with teaching how to fully harness the power of Google Apps and web resources in schools. He's a gadget geek and loves to share amazing technology with others!

Trevor Ragan

Trevor Ragan has one goal: to challenge and question EVERYTHING that we think we know about sports, education, and development. On his journey he has worked with best-selling authors, olympic coaches, professional athletes, renowned professors, and thousands of coaches, teachers, students, and players from all over the world.These experiences helped him to discover some incredibly important research in the fields of motor learning, performance science, and psychology that should have totally changed the way we train and develop students, athletes, and people in general – but they have not. His mission is to change that! Trevor’s focus is to encourage a growth mindset, leadership, and the science of learning. All while adhering to his philosophy that getting better is NOT pretty. It's time to ruffle some feathers, cause a ruckus, and make change.

Felix Jacomino

Felix is currently the Director of Innovation & Technology at Gulliver Schools, a co-educational private college preparatory day school with an international and national reputation for excellence, in Miami, Florida. He is the founder of Miami Device, a learning event he organized and hosted for its first two runs. His sessions focus on using iPads in the classroom, inspiring and integrating technology by focusing on the who, why and how, and building your PLN through Twitter. Felix has expertise in music education, technology integration, and educational leadership.

Stormy Cullum

Stormy is the District Technology Integration Coordinator at Liberty Eylau ISD. She strives to provide excellent leadership, supoprt and professional development to those in her district in order to sustain the use of educational technology for heightened instruction, collaboration and student achievement. Stormy is a Google Certified Trainer and a Google Certified Innovator.
