NETX Leading & Learning Conference: A Work of Love.

Let me just say... It feels AWESOME to be this excited and invested in something. If any event could be called a labor of LOVE this is it!

One year ago, my good friend, Kali Little and I went to a conference and left with the feeling that... WE HAVE GOT TO DO THIS! Planning began immediately.

You see, our little area of Northeast Texas could be considered slow to jump on the technology band wagon. Not because we refuse to try new things or don't want to learn, but becuase many of the smaller districts in our area lack the funds to send teachers to conferences like TCEA. We lack quality training in technology close to home as well. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is you don't know what you don't know, ya know?

After our trip to TCEA this year, we enlisted another friend and fellow Instructional Technologist, Melissa Motes. That's when things started moving and shaking! The rest is history!

Seven of the smaller and local school districts will be sending administrators and teachers to receive FUN, interactive, and innovative training in technology with a focus on leadership and learning, ALWAYS LEARNING! We have some amazing vendors jumping on board to support our efforts like Southern Arkansas University, Texarkana College, Myon, Gabbert, McGraw-Hill, SuperKids Reading, Master AV, Atomic Learning... and more jumping in every day!

We will only grow from here. Be on the look out for some information about our featured presenters and keynote speaker! All are sure to KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF!

Until then, we are looking for presenters! Please consider proposing a session and be a part of something BIG in our area! https://goo.gl/dYmM0x
